Privacy Policy

Overview

Seal Your App is built with your privacy in mind. We do not access, inspect, or analyze your source code or binaries. Your files are uploaded securely, processed on ephemeral build runners that are destroyed after each build, and all build artifacts are automatically deleted within 24 hours.

How Your Binaries Are Protected

When you upload files to Seal Your App, we take the following steps to protect your code:

  1. Secure upload — Your files are transmitted securely to our cloud infrastructure. Access is restricted to your authenticated account.
  2. Isolated processing — Your files are processed on an ephemeral build runner that handles signing and packaging. The runner is destroyed after the build completes. We do not retain, inspect, or log your files during this process.
  3. Automatic deletion — Uploaded binaries are deleted immediately after your build completes. Generated installers are available for download for up to 24 hours, then permanently deleted.

We respect your privacy and treat your code as confidential. Our infrastructure is designed so that your files exist in our systems only for the minimum time necessary to complete your build.

What We Do Collect

We collect and store the following information:

  • Account information — Email address, display name, and authentication provider (Google, GitHub, Apple, or email/password)
  • Build metadata — App name, version, publisher name, platform, installer type, build status, and timestamps. This is configuration data, not your source code or binaries.
  • Payment information — Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We retain Stripe transaction IDs and purchase records for accounting.
  • Usage data — Build counts, seal token balances, and subscription status.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not access, inspect, or analyze your source code or binaries
  • We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties for marketing purposes
  • We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or advertising networks

Data Retention

  • Build artifacts — Uploaded binaries are deleted immediately upon build completion. Generated installers are retained for a maximum of 24 hours to allow download, then permanently deleted.
  • Publisher profile assets — Logos and other profile assets are retained for the lifetime of your account.
  • Account information — Retained for the lifetime of your account. You may request account deletion at any time.
  • Build metadata — Configuration data and build records are retained for your reference. These do not contain your source code or binaries.

Third-Party Services

Seal Your App uses the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, and file storage
  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • GitHub Actions — Ephemeral build runners for signing and packaging
  • Apple — MacOS notarization service (Apple receives your signed binary during notarization)
  • Microsoft Azure — Windows code signing via Trusted Signing

Each service is subject to its own privacy policy. During the signing process, Apple and Microsoft receive your binaries as required by their code signing and notarization services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
